The Vurcon PL180/8000 is the reference machine of the PL series for shafts, tubes and discs of up to 15 t: 1,100 mm monolithic bed with hardened prismatic guideways, Ø1,850 mm swing over bed, 8,000 mm between centers, 37 kW headstock with automatic 4-range gearbox and Ø142 mm spindle bore. The steady rests reach up to Ø1,000 mm.
