The Vurcon PL140/5000 is a monolithic flat-bed CNC lathe for large, heavy and precise shafts and discs: Ø1,440 mm swing over bed, 5,000 mm between centers and up to 15 t part weight. It turns cylindrical, conical, stepped and spherical surfaces, internal and external threads (metric and inch), and also drills, reams, bores and spot-faces.
This configuration includes C-axis on the spindle and a device for Y-axis milling: keyways, flats and radial and face holes are machined in the same setup, without moving the part to another machine.
Advantages

- Ready to produce: semi-enclosure with sliding door and lighting, air-conditioned cabinet, CE marking and commissioning at your workshop.
