Vurcon at EXPOMIN 2027 (Chile): CNC lathes for mining and mining maintenance
Vurcon will exhibit at XIX EXPOMIN, the major mining fair in Chile and one of the sector's benchmarks in Latin America. We will be there from 20 to 24 April 2027 in Espacio Riesco (Huechuraba, Santiago de Chile), Hall 3, stand 3-M06, together with Follow, the conventional lathe brand of Grupo Ferrotall.
Why we are going to EXPOMIN
Chilean mining generates an enormous volume of maintenance work: shafts, pulleys, rollers, ring gears, hydraulic cylinders and crusher and mill parts that are repaired or manufactured in engineering shops and workshops across the country. These are large-part, short-run jobs, exactly where a good lathe makes the difference in lead time and cost.
What we will bring
- Vurcon E510 electronic cycle lathe, the same one we showed in Madrid, without its enclosure so you can see all its functions: touchscreen and turning cycles without programming in G-code. Ideal for maintenance: you work as on a conventional lathe, with the repeatability of a CNC. See the range of electronic cycle lathes.
- Follow CE 660V x 2000 conventional lathe, for workshops that want sturdiness and simplicity.
And on the stand we will show you the range of Vurcon large-format CNC lathes, with swings of more than 1.8 m and up to 8 m between centers, designed for mill shafts, rollers and large-diameter cylinders.
